 SUNDAY:

Morning Service: 10.30am (creche and children's groups available)
Sunday Club*: 11.00am-noon for all children aged 6-11 years
Family service: 1st Sunday of the month, communion: 3rd & 5th Sunday of the month
Discipleship School: 6.30pm

 TUESDAY:

Sunshine Parent & Toddler Group*: 9.30am - 11.30am
The parent and toddler group operates during term times.  We have plenty of toys, books, puzzles and equipment for creative play and plenty of space to use it all!  We incorporate craft activities and songs into the session and we always have a break for tasty snacks and drinks! Prayer meeting: 2.00pm - 3.00pm 

Sports Night*: 7.30pm - 10.00pm

 WEDNESDAY:

Open Door*: 2.00pm-4.00pm
This group is aimed at those aged 55 or over and is a joint project run by Christ the King, St Philips and our own church, but it is open to all, whether you go to church or not.  It is an opportunity to get together with others in the local area and enjoy chat, quizzes, activities, guest speakers and refreshments.  For more information contact Mary James (01202) 546025

 THURSDAY:

Kool Klub: 4.15pm - 5.15pm
This is a term time club for children in Reception, yrs 1 and 2.  Each session there are games and activities for the children to enjoy and parents are also welcome to stay for tea/coffee.  For more information contact Sue Frewin on (01202) 532841

Puppet Team*: 8.00pm
A group of our young people meet on a Thursday evening to learn how to operate large puppets from behind a stage area.  The puppets sometimes take part in the morning service and mime and dance to songs.  The team has recently begun to be involved in community events.  They are constantly seeking to improve their skills and repertoire.

 FRIDAY:

Early morning prayer meeting: 8.00am

Mega Club*: 6.30pm-8.00pm
Mega Club is for those aged 8 to 11½.  Each session there are games, creative activities, tuck shop and a short talk with a bible message.  Sometimes the club go swimming together and have special party nights.For more information contact Nicki Curtis 07505 308823

"Talk About    it ..." 

"Talk about it..." is a friendly service offered by the church, with trained listeners, for anyone who feels the need of someone to talk to (please note, this is not a professional counselling service).  If you would like to contact us Telephone (01202) 578840

 Home Groups

We have different home groups that meet during the week at various homes in the area.  These groups give an opportunity for small groups of people to meet together to discuss bible verses and life issues, ask questions, pray and worship together in an informal setting.

Discipleship school

 

Each session looks at what it means to live out the Christian life in the 21st century, with a short Bible talk, informal discussion, question and answer, reflection and prayer. Everyone welcome.

 

Discipleship School will be returning shortly with a theme for the new term of "being a Christian at work, at home and at play."
