What's On

As stated on the Welcome page, due to the coronavirus all church events are suspended from 18th March 2020.

We really want to keep you in touch - we cannot meet so are online. Also we are producing our weekly notice sheet as usual - just go to our Welcome page for all the latest.

All our events are normally on the calendar below. Using the Agenda tab, scroll down using the bar on the right. For fuller details, click on the item you are interested in.



Morning Gathering: 10.30am family friendly gathering (Communion on the 3rd & 5th Sundays of the month.) Signed for those with hearing loss. 

Look out for our special all-age breakfast services happening at least once a half term. 

Sunday Club:  During morning gathering for children and youth. A fun time with interactive stories and creative activities.
 We have colouring books, a mat and toys at the back for creche aged children


Open Prayer Time: 9:15 to 9:45 in the prayer room. All welcome. 

Sunshine Parent & Toddler Group: 9.30am - 11.30am
For children aged 0-4. Join us for free play with our exciting toys, books, puzzles and lots of space to zoom around in! Songs & crafts follow, with a break for snacks and drinks. For more information contact Heather Hensby on (01202) 582034. Term time only.

Sports Night: 7.30pm - 10.00pm

Open Prayer Time: 9:15 to 9:45 in the prayer room. All welcome.

Re:fresh Coffee Morning: From 10 am to 12 noon in the church Side Hall.  Enjoy homemade cakes and a hot drink. There is no charge, but we welcome a donation to Cornerstone Development Fund!

Gentle Keep Fit 11:45 to 12:15 in the main church hall (there is a small charge).

Open Door: 2:00pm-3:30pm A joint project run by Christ the King, St Phillips and our own church. It is open to all, whether you go to church or not.  An opportunity to get together with others in the local area and enjoy conversation, quizzes, activities, guest speakers and refreshments.  For more information contact Mary James (01202) 546025

Early morning prayer meeting: 8.00 to 9.00am. Praying for the needs of the church, the local community and the wider world. All welcome.

Mega Club: Fridays 6.00pm-7.30pm 

Mega Club is for children aged 7 to 11 during school term time (check the calendar above for exact dates). Sessions can include a mixture of activities such as games, crafts, tuck shop, interactive stories, discussion and relevant talks. We also have special events and outings.

Youth Club: Fridays 7.45pm-9.15pm

Youth Club is for children aged 11 to 17 during school term time (check the calendar above for exact dates).

We have different home groups that meet during the week at various homes in the area.  These groups give an opportunity for small groups of people to meet together to discuss bible verses and life issues, ask questions, pray and worship together in an informal setting. Contact us for details of a group near you.
